How to Make Remote Workers Happier

The remote workforce is growing exponentially and provides companies with a diverse pipeline of employees from a variety of backgrounds. Software development service provider Rainforest QA found that although it had a significant number of remote workers, their engagement levels were lower than onsite employees, which is a typical dynamic across industries. The company set out to improve the remote experience by implementing a program called Remote Week. At Interop 2018, Rainforest's Vice President of People, Heather Doshay, explained the project and how helped build empathy and equalized engagement for employees both onsite and offsite.
